He came
Light shining in darkness,
bright Dawn of morning
in this fallen world.

He came 
in such tender mercy 
for those bruised and broken,
for those sick in soul.

He came
mighty and holy,
the Lord God of Heaven,
the promise fulfilled.

He came
in peace toward the shattered
to guide and deliver
from Satan’s foul curse.

He came!
