Refuge

God, my refuge – God, my strength,
help me as I face this day.
I know Your presence is with me,
Guide my feet to walk Your way.

When they enemy assails,
let me lean into Your heart
knowing he cannot prevail
against the strength that You impart.

When the storms come crashing down
and I’m tossed by wind and rain,
Remind me that Your love endures.
Your foundation will remain.

God, my refuge – God, my strength,
I lift my heart, my life to You.
I will rest in Your great care.
Exalt Your name in all I do.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2Therfore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. 10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Nice poem and I love the photo with the buffalo in the foreground! Is this your own?
