Father,
It is easy to become confused and overwhelmed in the rhetoric of the day.
Voices clamor their good intentions while secretly robbing and assaulting the helpless. They call Your name, but their actions contradict Your Word. They point fingers at others to distract from their own misdeeds.
Here is what I know, Father.
You alone are good and righteous.
You are Truth.
You are Life.
Your way leads home.
Guard my ears and my heart, Father.
Keep my ears tuned to Your voice.
Keep my heart aligned to Your heart.
This world is a wilderness but You make a way for Your children.
You have made a Way through Jesus, and You WILL make a way through this life.
Keep me in Your path.
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Psalm 17:5 Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Proverbs 3: 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
