Steadfast

I cannot doubt His tender love
though sadness I may see
for in the smiles of children, dear,
His heart calls out to me.

I cannot doubt His faithful care
when all around I see
the beauty of an Autumn day
displayed on every tree.

I can not lose the joy He gives
when trials shake my soul,
for through the storms and through the night
His hand is in control.

I Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
