Holy Father,
My heart has been hurting, and I have struggled with grief.
Today, though, You reminded me – We do not sorrow as those who have no hope (II Thessalonians 4:13).
While I may miss their smiles here, their joy is complete because they are with You.
While I may still maneuver through the pains and trials of this life, they have completed their journey and are now dancing with You.
While this world presses down on my heart, they have escaped to the celestial air of Your glory,
and I will see them again!
Today, Father, I rejoice in You.
I rejoice in Your sovereignty.
I rejoice in Your Resurrection.
I rejoice in Your complete healing,
for I do not sorrow as those who have no hope.
Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
