Where Do I Run?

Where do I go when the world is crumbling
and the enemy’s rumblings
threaten my heart?
Where do I run when the sky is falling,
completely mauling my plans and dreams?

Where do I hide when the things I cherish
hopelessly perish
in front of my eyes?
What do I say when the lies are flying
and no one is buying
Truth anymore?

I run on in the strength of my Lord,
walking in the glory of His presence.
His grace covers me and sets my heart free.
I walk on in the strength of my Lord.

He is my firm foundation
He is my salvation
I run to Him.
He is my great Redeemer -
the shoulder that I lean on -
He keeps my heart.

I Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
