When the light is bright and the sky is clear,
I sing of the Faithful One.
When His presence guides and seems so near,
I sing of the Faithful One.

When flowers bloom brightly and colors abound,
I sing of the Faithful One.
When the love of friends is all around,

But the sky does not always shine so clear,
Nor are friends and family always near.
Sometimes my heart trembles with fear.
He still is the Faithful One.

When the air is heavy with grief and pain
and the darkness tries my heart to claim,
I call upon my Savior’s name;
For He is the Faithful One.
