Just as the star beckoned the wisemen to search for the newly born King, God is calling us back to Bethlehem –

 back to the humility of the stable,
 back to the wonder of the shepherds,
 back to the joy shared by the angels,
 back to the Truth of Christ’s life,
 back to mercy birthed 
in the sorrow of the cross,
 back to the power of the resurrection. 

Like the wisemen, may we be faithful to follow where He leads,

no matter the cost,

no matter the journey,

no matter the difficulties and trials.

Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honor.
