Psalm 138

When I call, He answers and strengthens me. (verse 3)

Though I walk in trouble, He will preserve me. (verse 7)

The Lord will fulfill His purpose in me. (verse 8)

God’s mercy and steadfast love endure forever. (verse 8)

Father,

Thank You for answering the cry of my heart so many times. I didn’t always recognize Your work, but I received the strength to take one more step, to try one more time. My heart received the courage to love through one more hurt and live through one more trial. Thank You, Father.

Thank You for bringing Your will to completion in my life. Thank You for You everlasting mercy – Your steadfast love.

You are good, Father! You are good!
