“The Gospel changes everything.”

I drove on thinking about that.
 
In my life, the Gospel has 
changed everything.
 
It changed my status –
I once was lost, but now I am found.
 
It changed my destination –
I was bound for Hell,
but now Heaven is my eternal Home.
 
It changed my purpose –
I once sought only to please myself,
but now I want to please Christ.
 
It changed my mental health –
I once lived in guilt,
but now I live in forgiveness.
 
It changed my outlook –
The joy of the Lord is my strength.
 
It changed my attitude –
I once saw only the darkness 
in this world,
but now Christ has filled 
my life with light.
 
It changed my lifestyle –
I once lived according to the
priorities and actions 
of this world,
but now I live for Christ.
 
It changed my emotions –
I once lived in fear,
but His love has cast out fear.
 
It changed what I love –
I once loved this world,
but now my affections 
are set on things above.
 
Yes, the Gospel has changed 
everything for me. Everything!
