Stand in Awe

Psalm 114

God performed supernatural miracles to get Israel out of Egypt.

He parted the sea.

He sent a cloud and a pillar of fire to show them the way.

He moved several million people across a desert – seamlessly – without tanks or trucks or government assistance.

He fed them and clothed them.

When God wants something to happen, He can and will accomplish what He wants.

Too easily, we overlook the miracles in everyday life.

  • We travel.
  • We eat and drink.
  • We are clothed.
  • We have work.
  • We walk, and talk, and breathe.
  • We live on a planet hurtling through space, and we are not shaken.
  • We see the beauty of this world, even in the middle of the evil that surrounds us.

Is anything too hard for God? No.

Father, Please don’t let me lose the awe of Who You are and Your amazing ability.

Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
