How easy it is to believe that what I see, and what I feel, and what I want, and what I think are my most important parameters for living. In reality, Who God is and what He thinks are the foundational principles of life. When I forget this, I set myself up to worship the temporal rather than the Eternal. My perspective must be grounded in the Word of God, which speaks the heart of God to my heart, or I will flounder and fail in this business called life.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
II CORINTHIANS 4:17-18

So wonderful to read this, and meditate upon it, as I begin this new day in Him.
It would also be wonderful if Gracespeak devotionals were published one day in a book.😁😊❤

That, my sister, is a matter of prayer.
