In Christ I have forgiveness.
In Christ I know sweet peace.
In Christ, my heart finds refuge,
and senseless strivings cease.
 
In Christ, my soul is settled
in love so pure and kind.
His word gives light and guidance,
and mercy there I find.
 
Though difficulties trouble
and sorrow maims my soul,
in Christ I know redemption
for His blood makes me whole.
