We talk about Jesus being our friend. He is.

We say He is our brother (Proverbs 18:24). He is.

We speak of His humble birth, His quiet life, and His humiliating death. All of this is true and important.

We call Him Father (Psalm 103:13). He is.

We focus on His grace, His love, His mercy, and we are so thankful for Him.

But while we talk, may we never forget that He IS LORD, CREATOR, MIGHTY GOD, OMNIPOTENT KING, HOLY GOD!!

Those words are not future titles; they describe Him today.

The people who threw branches and cloaks down to welcome Him into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday had it right. He is MASTER!

Jesus Christ (Christ is His title, not His name) is worthy of honor and glory. He is worthy of my worship and my praise.

The leftover pieces of my attention are not sufficient to acknowledge His grandeur. He deserves my heart, my life, my all!

All hail King Jesus!
