We think we have God figured out.

We have assumed out assumptions and set our expectations based on finite understanding.

We attempt to dictate His actions based on our own personalities and preferences, and we are shocked and shaken when He does not comply.

Like toddlers, we presume that the world revolves solely around us and that the only reality is what we can see and touch.

But God is so much more than we can imagine – He is so much more than we can understand. That is why He is God.

At some point, we must walk in faith, trusting God to be God and keep His word.

He will!

⁸ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
