The evidence of a vital, growing relationship with God can be seen in our response to crisis. 

When our faith is in the God Who can, we can endure, we can persevere, we can know joy even in trial and severe sorrow.

Faith is not grounded in the temporal; its foundation is the Eternal One.

Faith does not live in reason; it lives in God. 

Faith does not rest on my own abilities and understanding; it rests in the omnipotent power of God.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ² For by it the elders obtained a good report. ³ Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Hebrews 11:1-3

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

I Corinthians 2:5
