Entrusted

When we realize the preciousness of the trust we hold, its pricelessness will supersede our rights, our need to be first, our impatience.

We are entrusted with a treasure –
not to hoard or hide,
not to hold tightly, grasping.
We are entrusted with a treasure –
the Gospel of Christ –
to give, to share, to showcase, to live.

Entrusted.

Eternal treasure.

Christ.

II Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

II Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
