Unforgettable

Luke 12:Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

When life’s sorrows roll over my soul,
and my heart trembles.

When confusion reigns in all I see,
and truth is hidden.

I will look to my King!

Though enemies surround,
and trouble threatens.

Though scorn and derision
color every word I hear.

I will not forget my King!

When the ranting of the restless
encourage unease.

When I am bound by brokenness
and frazzled by fear,

I will remember my King,

for I know
my King has not forgotten me!
