Come walk with me to Bethlehem under the starlit sky.                   
Come see the tired young couple who travel here tonight.                         
Keep watch for soon a Baby's cry will sound out soft and clear      
Announcing that the Light has come - God, Himself, is here. 

Look closely as poor shepherds come to gaze upon His face,                         
and watch to see them change when confronted by His grace.                      
The noise around continues, but nothing is the same,                                      
for God has stepped into our world - Immanuel His name.
