Everywhere I look I see confusion –
Conflict in the things we say and do.
My heart struggles with the music
vocalized by voices untrue.
Still, my heart hopes in each morning
as dawn’s colors shatter the night.
In God’s embrace I am covered by grace,
My God is faithful and true.

I will look beyond the trials of this life.
I will trust in God’s perfect plan.
He will bring me through the circumstances;
In His grace alone I stand.
My heart seeks out His blessing,
As I wait for strength to renew,
For I know that His promises are so,
and my God is faithful and true.

Revelation 19:11  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True,

Lamentations 3:²² It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. ²³ They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. ²⁴ The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. ²⁵ The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. ²⁶ It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
