I Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (ESV)

Faithful God –
awakening the sunrise,
brightening the dark skies,
resplendent in Your joy.
Faithful God –
sending down the raindrops,
covering the green crops,
providing constantly.

Faithful God –
the colors of Your sunset,
more precious than the best gift,
demonstrate Your love.
Faithful God –
I hear You in the twilight.
I see You in the moonlight.
I stand amazed at You.

Faithful God –
I came to You so broken,
my agony unspoken,
yet You drew me in.
Faithful God,
my heart is Yours now, always.
Your praise will christen my days.
I glory in Your name.

How can I doubt the wonder of Your presence?
How can I fail to see Your loving care?
Faithful God –
so patiently You call me,
so lovingly You hold me.
Your grace has rescued me.

Deuteronomy 7:9  Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations, (ESV)

Psalm 31:5 Into your hand I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God. (ESV)

Psalm 36:5 Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. (ESV)
