When Jesus looked at Martha after Lazarus died and said “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”, He was asking her to let go of what she could see and feel.
In the face of her life’s greatest sorrow and crisis, He wanted her to see beyond the temporal and the logical to Who God really is.
He calls us to do the same today.
John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
It’s hard today as society demand to see and feel what is in front of you, that that is truth. No room for faith sadly or even God.
