Defensive Grace

II Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

We are in a battle and the enemy will attack.  God instructs us to be strong.

This strength is not just a grit your teeth and muddle through endeavor; it is founded and grounded in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, we operate from a strategic place of defense.

When the enemy hurls guilt – GRACE
When the enemy throws despair – GRACE
When Satan’s minions surround us with temptation – GRACE
When the darts of the enemy hurt – GRACE
When we are overwhelmed
and confused in the skirmish,
the GRACE that is in Christ Jesus assures us
that there will be no mortal wound.
His GRACE has already won our victory,
and nothing the enemy can do
will change that fact.
