Victory does not lie in circumstances;

it lives in God.

Therefore, it is an unchangeable state of the Christian.

We need to recognize our citizenship in this state.

I Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

II Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place.
