Perfect Peace

Isaiah 26:Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:

Perfect peace –
not absence of turmoil,
but the presence of the Everlasting Father.

Perfect peace –
not mindful oblivion,
but purposeful focus on the Eternal God.

Perfect peace –
not perfect circumstances,
but constant trust in the God of the circumstances.

Perfect peace –
not a stagnant condition,
but a vibrant, living faith in the Mover of Mountains.

Perfect peace –
not a personal accomplishment,
but a gift from the perfect Father.

Perfect peace –
not avoidance of the difficult,
but supernatural soul strength in difficulty.

Perfect peace –
not momentary relief,
but the constant moment-by-moment provision
of the Prince of Peace.
