Regardless of the reason they fall, we can trust our tears to Jesus.

Silently seeping from the cracked heart
wounded by grief
or sorrow
or pain,
they fall.

Glittering in the sparkle of eyes
alight with joy,
and hope,
they shine.

Miraculously releasing pressure
the human heart
can’t hold,
Touching eternity by their very presence
as they are noticed
and kept
by the One Who also wept.

 John 11:35 Jesus wept.

Psalm 56:Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Psalm 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
